I would not come back to stay here ever again. Our room had a very bad smell. Really would like to know why the hotel thinks it's worth charging people $17.00 per day to park - they don't take responsibility for anything lost in any vehicles etc., so where do they get off charging that much to park on their own property. We pay enough for the rooms with the bad smells. I should also mention to everyone that there are train tracks right behind you, and noise from that every night.

I stayed at the Doubletree while in town visiting family. I loved the sunny rooftop pool and the light-blocking window shades. The hotel is near a park, which made it easy to get a 2 mile run in each day. There aren't a lot of restaurants or drug stores in a short walking distance, which was a downside. And the shower's water never got especially hot, though it was tolerably warm. I'd stay here again - a good value (especially through Priceline) for the nice accommodations.

Positives: Great staff, very accommodating, hotel food sampled was very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity provided (room service better value than outside deliveries available). Rooms large, clean, and with modern conveniences and accessories. Negatives: Door lock hardware required deliberate and purposeful effort to close, with loud impact, making the possibility of leaving the door ajar a regular concern, and the sound echoing thru the walls and down the halls late into the night. The location was in close proximity to the Amtrak Railroad tracks (which curves past the south side of the hotel) which has numerous street level crossing insuring the twice daily trains (after 10 PM and before 6AM) to sound their horn sequence at least five times before becoming inaudible. Absolutely encourage guests to stay on the north side of the hotel to insure a better sleep.
