I was able to get this hotel for $100 a night. Was not the most fancy or elegant but it did the job. Walking distance to the venue.

Liked: Very close to Hard Rock and City Walk.

Liked: Clean; affordable; room service and housekeeping were great.
Disliked: No balconies for a non smoking facility.

Doubletree Hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hard Rock Live, and CityWalk. The Florida Mall is also a 15-minute drive from the hotel. It's a great place to stay if you're vacationing on a budget.

Liked: Centrally located near many different things.
Disliked: Parking fee I was not informed of.

Won’t stay again

Liked: It’s a new building
Disliked: There was someone else’s hair in the sink and the tub when we got there. No one explained to us properly how the parking works. We paid $31 THREE times, once charged with the room, the first time we left to eat we had a long line behind us of cars and couldn’t figure out how to make the room key worked and paid $31 to get out. Third time was when we were leaving I went to check out they took the room keys, I didn’t think anything of it and we had to pay a third time to leave.

Great for Universal Studios visit

Liked: Great location if you’re coming for Universal Studios. Within walking distance; otherwise some transportation is also provided by the studios a few times a day. Room was large, comfortable and clean. There are several food options on site including a Starbucks. Also within walking distance from an outlet. Has a large parking space

Liked: Location was excellent. The rooms were clean but dated. The service was excellent.
Disliked: Paying for parking for guest was high. You already pay a hospitality tax.

Great location and accommodating staff.

Liked: The location is very central and within a reasonable distance from the airport. After traveling for over 22 hours, the staff assisted me with an early check-in which I was very grateful for. Breakfast was delicious and the room was incredibly spacious and definitely up to the standards one expects from a DoubleTree hotel.
