In general I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else unless there were some maintenance issues taken care of and a new staff were hired who enjoyed customer service.

Disliked: I put the rating of "disappointing" not because I expected a 5 star hotel for the price that I paid but because I do expect for a hotel to be safe in all aspects and clean. We always get a hotel with a pool for entertainment for our kids because we don't have a lot of money to spend when we go somewhere but the pool was dirty and cloudy. Safety was definitely an issue. The bar to hold onto to walk down the steps into the pool was loose which is dangerous and the ladder to climb out of the pool was also loose. When I sat in one of the pool lounge chairs it cracked and I only weigh 145 lbs. There were a lot of lights in the walkways that were blinking constantly or just out. The rooms were not very clean, hence the roach we found, and the front desk people were not very friendly - like they would rather be somewhere else. Like I said I realize this was not a 5 star hotel, but I have been in one before that was just as old but the staff were super friendly, willing to do whatever needed to be done to make us, the paying customer, satisfied with our stay. Attitude goes a long way.

Liked: There was absolutely nothing to like! It was a horrible, nasty, SCARY experience! This hotel should be removed from your site! This is not a safe place for anyone to stay! Theres no way this place is ever cleaned at all. And very scary people hanging out
Disliked: There is way too much to fit into the character limit but I would he happy to go in depth if youd care to reach out. I also took pictures. I honestly 100% believe this place isnt run as a true hotel. Its got to be a front for drugs and other stuff!

Passable

Liked: Fairly inexpensive
Disliked: Hallways were messy and smelled like weed. Key card machine did not work. Had to be let in to room.

Disliked: The room was not cleaned. There were items left by previous guests and the floor and sink were dirty.

Disliked: Breakfast was advertised but there wasn't any. Advertised as newly remodeled but place was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. We did not receive key, the walls were unfinished, leaking ice machine, missing trim, people sitting in the hallways.

Disliked: Rooms were in disrepair.Bed looked like a bathtub (severe swag in middle).Very old and dirty furniture.Toilet paper holder broken and hangs from wall.A paralyzing smell of cigarette smoke inside their “non smoking room “.Smell of marijuana on property.Stains all around.Noticeable live activity of bugs.Activity of a woman letting local men in/out of a room .A presence of homeless men and women on property, and loud presence in lobby.“Welcomed” by an obvious homeless person (staying on property no doubt).Was told “they did away with breakfast “.Was told “owner doesn’t speak English “ when I asked to speak to him.Whew! This has been NO exaggeration. Trust me.We did NOT stay here. Went to nearby Quality Inn for the night. That manager informed me we were the 9th customers that had stayed with them that DAY that first went Days Inn, then changed their minds.My only regret was in my haste to leave, I took zero pictures.
