Disliked: The restaurant staff didn't seem excited to be there. Perhaps they could be a little happier with their work if they interacted more positively with customers. The women at the hotel desk were extremely nice and helpful.

Disliked: We received an email a few days prior to our arrival advising that some remodeling was taking place in one wing of the hotel. We arrived to find that the swimming pool was not in use (one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel over others). Staff (in sharp contrast to another Marriott that we stayed in later in our trip) were very miserable, lacked knowledge and (with the exception of a manager that we saw on our last day) very unhelpful.Despite paying the "breakfast included" rate there was none available on our first morning (apparently there were no staff to cook or serve this) and the "breakfast" on the remaining days was very poor.Despite the manager giving us a discount following our complaint it now appears that they've charged us twice for a supplementary room that we booked for our son for one night! In fairness the remodeling that was referred to in the email was not intrusive.
