Close to Amtrak

Liked: Close to Amtrak, nice looking building and room, had coffee maker
Disliked: My 2 questions were not responded to via on line thru Booking.com. There was something about an xtra $20 charge that I didn't understand. The room was smaller then expected. Cafe not open for supper on the weekend.

Staying at a Hotel should...

Liked: Breakfast was good. I paid extra at my booking for breakfast. I was given coupons to cover breakfast, but only after I asked for them to honor my prepayment. I took my coupons to get breakfast & the waiter told me the coupons only covered the meal, not the tip. Feeling pressured, I told him to bill a $5.50 tip to my room. He proceeded to bill our breakfasts & tip to my room. Which I had to straighten out at my check out.
Disliked: Front desk clerks should always check a reservation to make sure that a customer always gets what they paid for, without having to ask for the prepaid services. Waiters should always remember that they aren't entitled to a tip & when they bill items to someone's room, they need to not bill something that the customer has already paid for.

Liked: The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The room and other guests were quiet.
Disliked: The bed is not that comfortable.

Liked: Wonderful view on the pay. The hotel is modern. The room is big and clean with a comfortable bed. Pleasant bonus - work desk and sofa in room.
