Liked: The location was great for walking all over Charleston. We parked our car upon our arrival and never had to use it as everything was within walking distance. The staff was great. The bar in the hotel was very cozy and the bartenders did a great job.

Disliked: Way over priced for the accommodations that did not include parking or a breakfast. The hotel is run down and not in good condition. It has no historical charm for being in such a historical city. I felt like I could have been at any Courtyard in the nation. No Charleston feel - very sterile. I was also charged more than what the nightly rate was. I will be calling to fix that issue.

Disliked: Parking was pricey. Our trash was never taken out during our stay. We asked for clean towels, they were never brought to us.

Disliked: Hotel with no parking for customers! Huge staff parking lot and I have to pay to park anywhere else, the hotel is not interested in that. There was long hair on the bed, not mine! The staff were not polite. The bed is hard, had a backache in the morning. Would never stay again! Chose it for the separate beds, parking for the car (which is not available) and the downtown location. Breakfasts are chargeable, for that kind of money in boutique hotels nearby, have breakfast and wine as a gift at dinner. Soundproofing is disgusting, all night I listened to the slamming of doors at the neighbors and the car from the street. Very bad!!!
