Nice place, friendly staff, close...

Liked: The pool view. The closeness to Samford. It was quiet.
Disliked: Getting a little old. Poor pedestrian access to surrounding areas (not much of that is the hotels fault, but a path to the street would be nice)Perhaps proper coffee would be nice (espresso variants)

Very friendly staff

Liked: Traveled for our daughter to take her DAT exam for dental school. She slept great the night before her BIG test and passed with flying colors!

Liked: The women working the breakfast/coffee bar were very kind and efficient.

Liked: Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: We paid for breakfast included in our room rate but when we got there Marriott said it only was for one breakfast.

Room was quiet and comfortable.

Liked: Room was ready when we arrived. Room appeared clean. Temp. was fine.
Disliked: Maybe a few more towels. Work out room was just okay, nothing special. One of the treadmills wasn't functioning.
