This is not the quality...

Liked: The staff were amazing. From check in to check out. They were kind and professional.
Disliked: This was not a quality hotel. AT ALL. When we arrived, we were greeted by two sheriff's vehicles and another pulling in. We were nervous to even go in. At the desk stood 6 sheriff's officers in full gear. We have no idea what brought them there other than someone had "showed out" and then returned with a gang of folks. We checked in and went to our room, having been assured this was not usual. We had been traveling since mid day from Pennsylvania to get to Baton Rouge. We were exhausted. The room was abysmal. The bathroom was dirty, there were NO plugs or lamps/lights by the bed, and the noise from the freeway was unbelievably loud. Honestly had we not been so tired we would have left. Period. The bed was comfortable enough, but we had to climb over the couch to turn off the single light in the room to go to sleep. When our realtor saw us (we were there to find a home as we are moving there) she asked where we stayed. We told her. She said she wished we had talked to her because this particular property had many issues with safety and was in a bad area. Great.
