Facility amenities disappointing

Liked: Liked the location. Ryan at the front desk was as extremely pleasant and tried to accommodate us with your sister hotel because of the pool issue however being Easter weekend the other site was booked as well. But I really appreciated his attempt to help us out and go above and beyond!
Disliked: It didn’t have a pool. When I book family trips we only stay where there is a pool since we travel with young kids who enjoy swimming. The booking.com app said it had a pool and in room microwave which it did not have either. Had some very upset children since we planned on swimming after check in. It was at front counter that I found out there was no pool as booking app said. Was told by front desk that this was a fault of the app since we were not the first to think this. They said they had reached out to the booking sites to inform them but were still having some that had not changed their information as of yet. I will not use booking.com again I will directly contact the hotels to find out information and book through them directly. This has left a very sour taste for me and my children.
