Liked: Facilities were very safe. Breakfast was fantastic! Many tasty choices! Staff were helpful and very friendly! Fun to watch the dogs playing at the dog Park.

Make pet policies clear please!

Liked: Chose this hotel for location and pet friendly specified online. Park nearby.
Disliked: Arrived w my hundred and seven pound dog. Pet check in page at front desk specified dogs under 40 lbs only. This was not apparent online prior to booking. Reception said no worries. Page also said no cats. Ok this wasn't on the web page either. We checked in w our parakeet and dog and were immediately after going to our room told very rudely to leave and we only have a couple minutes to get out. Birds not allowed! Nowhere was this stated. Pet policy page said nothing about birds. I've always traveled w my bird and never had an issue. If that's policy please make it clear. I drove 4 hours to be immediately asked to leave because the owner apparently doesn't want any birds on property. Front desk was very angry w me and demanding I leave. Was very confusing as it was just my daughter and I and our dog and bird. We are dressed nice new car etc so didn't think we looked like we were causing any trouble. I told him ok I'll leave and he kept almost yelling at me that I had only moments to get out. It was like I walked down the hallway w a weapon or something. Very strange. Holiday Inn Express across street gave us a great room and didn't even need a pet deposit for parakeet. Excellent stay there.

Liked: The second floor room was better than the first floor room. It had carpet and was quieter even though it was right next to the exercise room. The 1st floor king size room had a zero entry shower which was nice.
Disliked: I prefer carpet over tile. My neighbors the first night stayed up past midnight and I could hear them even though they were just speaking normally. I believe that was due to the tile floors and adjoining door.
