Great location and the staff was super friendly. However, they were a little disorganized. They first put us in a room with two double beds, when we reserved a king size bed. On one of the beds we found a garment bag with clothes in it and then on the desk we found a laptop and car keys - we were obviously in someone else's room. We informed the front desk, they apologized and then put us in the only remaining room with a king sized bed on the first floor next to the lobby. We only stayed one night, so the location was okay, but not preferable. It was very clean room and comfy bed.

The employees were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was clean and ready early for us. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stay there again!

Disliked: Artel cancelled my reservation without prior notice. They said they were closed. I had to find a hotel last-minute because of their non-communication.

a perfect place to stay...

Liked: Amazing location. Close to TimeS. Walking distance to Central Park and other Must to see places. Friendly staff and amazing view from our room.
Disliked: Everything was perfect. We needed a place to sleep and look around and continue our trip. If you have only some hours to discover NY it is a perfect place to stay

Did the job, great location...

Liked: Great location, 7/11 Wendy's Arby's starbucks all what I would consider to be across the road less than 5 mins can see from the front of the property. Times Square was approx 10 min walk. Shower water pressure was really good, room was of decent size.House keeping was daily and did a good job.
Disliked: Constant smell of cannabis through the property. Dangerous room for kids, the room has concrete floors and very high bunk beds (higher than standard) the rail on the bunk was very loose and the gap so large that my 9year old would have fit through the gap. Falling from this bunk would cause serious injury. I decided to sleep in the bunk instead of my son but i also did not feel safe in the bunk as it was very wobbly and missing screws I ended up having to sleep top/tail with my 7year old so it was not the most comfortable stay. Also poor design the front door does not fit past the bathroom door (engineering or design mess up or something) so they have just cut a chunk out of the main door so it can open past the bathroom door, it's hard to explain but just not a good look not very professional at all.
