Disliked: Hotel was located in a more industrial area and finding restaurants nearby was tough. Staff seemed uninterested in their jobs. Too noisy near the reception area in late evening time.

Disliked: There was an almost choking smell of people smoking pot at the grilling area out front. The smell of weed gives my wife anxiety, so we almost didn't stay the night, but she held her breath and powered through. Otherwise, the carpet in our room had a few stains.

I would never stay here...

Liked: The breakfast was a good selection and the front desk person, MyKayla tried making our stay accommodating. She went out of her way to help us.
Disliked: The room was dirty, blood in toilet, stains all over the floors in hallway and room, hair in my daughter's bed! Hallway and room smelled like pot soo bad!

Liked: It was close to the interstate. I was able to get to my dad easy and help him with his appointments which is why I had to come to St. Louis.
Disliked: I intentionally asked for a room on the 1st floor when I booked my reservation (health issues). However, when I got there, I was given a 4th floor room. Even after I had been calling for days to make sure that I was being put on the 1st floor. My room had plenty of ants in it (and not just in the bathroom). The bathroom was dirty when I arrived, unfortunately I had to clean it in order to use anything in it. The top of the backsplash around the sink was black I thought that it was mildew. But I looked a little further, and I took a Clorox wipe and went around the backsplash, low and behold it all came off. I had to clean out the microwave & refrigerator also. This place is no longer a non-smoking establishment. The cigarette and the marijuana smoking in the building and right at the front door is just too much. I complained to a number of the staff members, but it fell on deaf ears. Most staff members lack Customer Service skills (General Manager on down need retraining). People without handicapped stickers/license were parking in the handicap spaces so that the handicap people couldn't park in them. They were also parking in the fire lanes and other non-parking areas making it hard to get around. The black spots on the towel are ants. I didn't have any ant spray at the time, so I used their towel since I had my own, thank God. The other pictures are of the Clorox wipe I used to clean around the bathroom backsplash.
