Booked this room because it said there was a bar and restaurant onsite. Could have stayed across from the venue for cheaper but there was no bar or restaurant. We got to the hotel to find the restaurant and bar closed. Was told they were getting a bartender for the pool bar but never saw one. Very disappointed as hubby and I don't get many nights away from home and we wanted a few drinks and dinner before our night out. Also, found a prescription pill on the floor of our room, making me wonder how well they are cleaned. Bed was comfy though.

Liked: Comfy bed.
Disliked: No bar; no restaurant.

Will book here for the next volleyball tournament at the Florida State Fairgrounds. This hotel was close and not congested with teams.

Liked: Super clean; new furnishings; parking good; friendly staff; breakfast was very nice and price was reasonable.
Disliked: No negatives.

Well where do I begin - we got there at 1.30 pm to find out check in is at 3 pm but she said check back, maybe a room would be ready. We made our reservation in April - it's September. So we drove around, came back at 2.30 and still no room, so we went next door. 45 minutes later a man was at the desk - she was telling him no king size beds were ready and that the cleaning girls were very behind schedule. After 10 minutes they found him a king room - guess which one? Mine! She said we could wait longer for a king or take a double. At 3.30pm we took the double - no notice about the pool being closed or no ice machine. It's a good thing we had plans at 6 pm so we did not spend that much time in the room but in the morning there were roaches in the room, on the sink and counter. We did not even stay for the breakfast after that. I will be contacting corp office about this - there was a manager at the desk and would not say a word to us, so we think that's how it's run there.

Liked: It was close to where we were going.
Disliked: Under remodelling; very slow at desk; cleaning girls need different jobs; don't stay here.

Great location near the State Fairgrounds and Ampitheater. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Did not take advantage of pool or breakfast but good value for the price. We will stay again!
