Totaly discusted staff indifferent

Disliked: Many flies and gnats in room killed more than a half dozen first day and night , we went out the next morning then in the afternoon when we returned, more flies , I looked to see if there was an open window behind drapes and found the window above ac unit coming out of frame with a gap between inside and outside . Flies and gnats getting in that way went to front desk to tell lady on duty and she seemef indifferent and just said no refunds instead if offering a different room. Also room not very clean found some sand on floor and bedsheets when we first went in. So instead of 2 nights we only stayed one and i feel we are owed 1 night reimbursement. I do not recommend this place at all . I should have taken a picture of window but was so disgusted I didn't think of it until miles away. We heard from motel they offered 10% refund to take down review. We would have rather had an acceptable room instead of ruining or stay, we left and went back home. The staff could have been more accommodating for their guests.

It’s an awesome CLEAN -...

Liked: Ocean view - convenience to boardwalk- and local shops . Pool was clean - room was amazing - awesome shower pressure . Coffee served for most of the day - quiet section of town

Good but could be improved.

Liked: We liked that everything was walking distance and there was a large variety. Parking was excellent. The hotel was reasonably clean and cared for.
Disliked: We specifically wanted a non-smoking facility because I have asthma. No one followed the smoking rules and the rules were not enforced. I had to hold my breath in so many areas of the hotel. NOT GOOD!!!!

Disliked: I wasn’t aware there would not be maid service during stay, but it was fine. Left plenty of towels and staff was available
