DoubleTree by Hilton Deadwood at Cadillac Jacks, Deadwood

It was a good stay.

Liked: The location is very good. Our room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. We had fun in the casino.
Disliked: The room we booked was advertised having 1 king bed, 1 full bed and 1 sofa bed. But when we got there, we were given a room with a king bed and 1 sofa bed. We went to the front desk to clarify the issue. Receptionist was responsive but was quite rude. They told us that booking.com misadvertised the room and that they are not affiliated whatsoever with booking.com and that we should book directly with them the next time we decide to stay at Doubletree. She was helpful enough to get us a room with 2 queen beds.

I would stay here again...

Liked: My Room was larger than I expected and beds were very comfortable.
Disliked: Parking was tight and to little parking spots.

We enjoyed the surrounding area.

Liked: Excellent location, facilities amenities were great.
Disliked: We had to wait two hours past check in because they were short staffed. This caused us to cancel our dinner reservations. The room walls and doors were filthy, no hot water in shower or sinks, and either pillows or comforter was worn/torn, for we constantly had feathers all over us.

Liked: Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Great value.

Liked: Wow! This hotel was such a surprise. It was so friendly, clean and updated. Every person that worked there that we came in contact with went above and beyond. Warm cookies upon arrival. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. We will be back!
Disliked: No-the hotel was worth every step to downtown!!!

It would be a nice...

Liked: I really liked how helpful the staff was and this hotel was by far better than the others connected to it. The fire pits outside were pretty cool.
Disliked: The parking garage was interesting to find a place to park considering they had most of it blocked off. The beds were really hard and it was difficult to try and find the pool without having to walk through the casino. When we got to the pool it was crowded and the water was loaded with so much chemicals that you're eyes felt like they were on fire. Also the hot tub and the pool was freezing.
