The Britannia International Hotel is next to the Dockland’s internationally renowned office development, outside the congestion charge zone. The hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from South Quay station (Docklands Light Railway) and Canary Wharf underground station – just one stop on the Jubilee Line from the O2 Dome (currently staging the Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibition until August 2008). London City Airport, Excel Exhibition Centre, Greenwich and the West End of London are all within easy reach.The Spindles Health & Fitness Centre (access at an additional cost) is beautifully appointed and offers its own private lounge. It is the hotel's policy that all children aged between 2 and 16 should be accompanied by an adult when visiting Spindles. Spindles is open 07:00 until 22:00 (Monday to Friday), and from 08:00 until 19:00 (Saturday and Sunday). Accompanying children are welcome from 09:00 until 12:00, and from 14:00 until 17:00). The hotel has designated car parking spaces for guests with mobility problems. There is level access to the hotel reception, with lift access to all rooms. There are 6 designated accessible rooms, with roll-in showers available. Level access is possible to all 3 restaurants, with lounge service provided for drinks. Room service is also available. All levels of Spindles are accessible via lift.
