Bourbon Orleans Hotel

Great location and a friendly staff. The pool is nice and the rooms are what you can expect for such an old and unique city-small, but cozy. The bedding is all white, which I've come to appreciate and expect. Helps make things feel more clean! My only complaint is that you cannot order an in-room dinner on Sunday or Monday evenings. Room service is usually standard at this star level and after a full day of traveling, I was very much looking forward to it. Not wanting to get dressed again and go back out, I just went to bed hungry, but enjoyed the roux cakes early the next morning.

I had a change in plans from 4 nights to only 2 nights. The hotel told me that I would need to cancel with Priceline while Priceline told me I had to check with the hotel. The hotel staff were more helpful in making the change and merely advising that I make a phone call as well. The priceline person might have been an answering service, since she sounded like she was reciting established responses and repeated herself regardless of my response. I knew the cancel policy before arriving, but it would have been helpful to be provided directions for shortening my stay.
