My sister and I stayed at the Beverly Laurel in Mid October, 2016. The staff and location were great. It was within walking distance (2 Blocks) to the Price is Right show. We also were able to meet Drew Carey at a restaurant in the area. This was definitely a highlight for us. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We felt safe at the Beverly Laurel and in the area - as two older ladies that was very important. We would definitely stay at the Beverly Laurel again.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past due to the location. It has always been "fine" for the money, but now it has been updated and made into this cool mid century jewel - what a treat! I will never stay anywhere else.

Liked: Updated and AMAZING!

Liked: Nice clean rooms; friendly staff and valet; attached restaurant a plus.
Disliked: AC was hard to configure - kept changing to heat when set AC; parking a little high.

Really good value for money...

Liked: Room was lovely and bigger than expected. Bed super comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed including the loveliest smelling soaps! Couldn't really fault the hotel at all especially given the location as it was walkable to everything we needed and parking was also super easy and at no cost. Tv's both worked, fridge for our drinks and also an iron were great additions. I also loved that we could open the windows in each room to let the fresh air in as some hotels don't have windows that open at all.
Disliked: My only issue is that the elevator was "broken" even though I saw someone go up in it meaning we had to carry four suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. And our hotel room was next to the storage room for laundry so the housekeeping staff were not quiet when going in and out of that room first thing in the morning at all.

Liked: The location was the only thing I liked about this hotel.
Disliked: The staff were sometimes surly. The elevator was out of order our whole stay, they put us on the top floor, and no compensation for that. The room was in terrible shape, huge ripped part in the carpet, dirty, loud a/c, outlets not working. Never again.
