Nice enough place let down...

Liked: A good location for accessing Syracuse, the big hopping mall and the Onandaga Lake park (plus Dinosaur BBQ). Room was perfectly clean and comfortable
Disliked: There was no-one at reception when we arrived, we had to go into the (separate) restaurant for him to then radio/phone the hotel staff to come to reception. Also, we were not told at breakfast that breakfast stopped at 9am - every other hotel on our roadtrip finished breakfast at 10, so we were disappointed to arrive at 9:10 to find it closed. The manager (the same one who was absent when we showed up) insisted that he told us about the 9am finish, but he did not, the only thing we were told when checking in was that there was no housekeeping.We ended up leaving a night early - partly to break up a long drive ahead, and partly because we'd done all we wanted in Syracuse. The (different) reception staff managed to take our cards off us and grunt something like "OK" when we told him we were leaving but didn't think to ask why, or show any concern that a guest was leaving early, All this while managing to keep his earbuds in the whole time so I'm not sure he even heard what I said.

Liked: It's convenient and easy to get to. There's a good restaurant on premises, although it was fully booked on Total Eclipse Day. Generally the rates are good compared to similar facilities.
Disliked: The facility was fully booked but didn't seem to be staffed adequately. The coffee maker wasn't working in the morning. Also the automatic door openers were not all working.
