Best Western Royal Sun Inn & Suites, Tucson

Good place.

Liked: Clean room; big shower; nice workers.
Disliked: None.

I truly enjoyed my time at this hotel. The staff was friendly; the room was clean and cool with tons of creature comforts like a DVD player and ironing board. The restaurant on site was amazing and the menu had a lot to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Everything.
Disliked: The sink didn't drain.

Clean, comfortable but….

Liked: Clean, comfortable, spacious.
Disliked: The light switch in the bathroom is a motion sensor. In theory a good idea but whenever one of us went into the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light came on and lit up the room. We tried to turn the motion sensor off but could not.

OK for one night.

Liked: breakfast was basic
Disliked: No elevator to floor 2.

Passable

Liked: Just a few minute drive to downtown restaurants. Free breakfast in the restaurant was good.
Disliked: Floors felt dirty the day we arrived. Pictures made the rooms, pool and hotel look more updated than it was.

Exceeded expectations

Liked: The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. It was quiet in the room and I slept well. The pool is great. The staff are helpful and attentive. There was an issue with my room that I discovered after one night and I was moved to another (superior)room immediately without fuss. The restaurant attached to the hotel is marvellous. They do a good, home cooked breakfast, there is also a wide choice for dinner, including some lovely big salads and plenty of veggie options, the staff are friendly and efficient and the beer (from the attached bar) is excellent.
Disliked: I had read the reviews and understood that it is a while since the rooms in this hotel have been refreshed but actually, for the price it was just great.
