California tour

Liked: We stayed in a 2 bedroomed suite at the rear of the hotel and whilst we suffered some neighbor noise from the room upstairs in the early evenings it was generally quiet. The breakfast was good, choice of fruit, porridge, waffles ,bacon etc. Tea and coffee were on tap in the lobby area & freshly made cookies were available in the afternoon. The pool was warm but generally busy with children as we visited during spring break. Capitola beach does get very busy with parking & traffic so the Inn, whilst not beach front ,is convenient as it is a 15 minute walk to the beach area.
Disliked: Busy pool because of spring break

Recommended/Good Location

Liked: Receptionist was very nice and allowed us to check in early without any additional fee's, however it was near the housekeeping room. Every morning the cleaning staff was very loud (talking, laughing, in both English and Spanish etc.). We had to ask them to keep it down and they did...barely. The following morning we had the same issue. We were going to ask reception to move our room, but we just had one more night. Breakfast was great.
Disliked: The room they gave us was right in front of the housekeeping room. Every morning the cleaning staff was very loud (talking, laughing, in both English and Spanish etc.) and you can hear the washer running. We had to ask them to keep it down and they did...barely. We bared it because we didn't want to move all our things to other room and we were only staying for three nights. Be sure you never get a room near housekeeping services. I think the price could be lower, but I guess we were there during Spring Break so everything is extra expensive.

Disliked: There was a bunch of kids and family that made noise in the hallways and jumping on top of us. Didn’t sleep the whole night. It literally shook the room. I tried to complain but got no help. It was horrible
