Liked: LOCATION WAS GREAT.
Disliked: The front desk knew that the room was not ready to receive guests. There was a drawer in the dresser under the TV that kept sliding out every time we pushed it in. So far out that my husband must have run into in the dark 3 times. The room itself was on the street side and it was extremely noisy. Initially so loud that a window was open which was not the case. The only armchair in the room did not have a cover on the cushion. The front desk advised it was because it was being laundered. The sheets were so worn that strings were tangling up on our hands and feet. We couldn’t figure out why there was a plastic bag over the fire alarm.

Disliked: Beds were uncomfortable. Noisy. Every step was amplified stree noise was too loud. Couldn't block out street light bc the had shutters. Were given the ADA compliant room but the shower curtain was very short and everything got wet.

Liked: The location is convenient to Santa Clara University. The breakfast had nice, homemade salsas to go with the scrambled eggs and potatoes. Perhaps this is what you can expect from a 2 star inn.
Disliked: Our room smelled of urine and the facilities are all in need of updating. The walls are paper thin. You can hear every noise outside, even on the back of the hotel. The halls, while freshly painted with clean carpet, are open on one side to an outdoor stairway. So, the hotel feels more like a motel.

Liked: The complimentary breakfast was free for guests it was nice and delicious. I would like to book a longer stay next time.
Disliked: My suite room looked more like an oversized regular unit and not an actual Grand suite but I paid for what I got

Liked: The lobby attendant met most of my expectations.
Disliked: No bath robes, pillows not very comfortable maybe more firmer pillows.
