Best Western Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi

Liked: Clean.
Disliked: Breakfast.

We stayed March 21-22. I was kind of unsure about the hotel because there was a lot of construction around the area and read reviews about it being too noisy. Well, our stay was perfect. The room was awesome. We had a great view of the bay from our room - we were on the 4th floor. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Staff was friendly. The pool was awesome. It was an excellent choice. We will definitely be staying again.

Liked: The view, the bed, everything!
Disliked: Nothing.

Don't miss out on the great breakfast!!! Loved the views from the room and the staff was very pleasant. When you get into your room, be sure to turn the refrigerator on!!!! They are turned off when someone is not in the room. Loved this place.

Disliked: Scrambled eggs were overbooked. Little better quality sausages

Good value for location.

Liked: The location was great, we were looking out on the harbour and had some restaurants and bars within walking distance. The outdoor pool and deck was nice and they have a gorgeous bar that is all windows looking out at the harbour. Breakfast was also great! Lots of options, one of the best we’ve had at a hotel! The bed was comfortable and room was a nice size and clean. There was also laundry facilities but only one of the 4 washers worked and 2 of the 4 dryers. The change machine downstairs didn’t work so getting the quarters to do laundry was also a pain. They do have a nice lobby to sit with friends and socialize.
Disliked: It was a little weird. There was obviously new, or newish reno’s, but never seemed completed. Amazing shower and sink/counter but old and kind of crappy ceiling, walls and floor. Paint was peeling a bit, black in some of the ceiling tiles. It was just weird. But overall felt like good value.

This is a good place...

Liked: Zeke at the front desk welcomed us warmly...always nice to deal with pleasant and friendly people. Refrigerator was nice and cold; although I didn't use the microwave, it was nice to have it. Room had a good view. Breakfast was ok and the room it was located in was nice.
Disliked: I didn't like that the room seems to be designed for a really tall person. I am 5' 3" and I had some difficulty getting into the high bed and I was unable to look out the peephole even standing on my tiptoes. That said, the toilet was very low to the ground. Also, since there are no overhead lights in the room, it would be great to have a brighter light on the desk so that you could see what you are working on...during the day with the drapes open, lighting wasn't a problem, but after dark, there really wasn't enough light to work at the desk.
