Nice staff, clean rooms, walk...

Liked: Breakfast had good variety of food. Scrambled eggs were good. Rooms were clean. Staff was very accommodating in trying to find connecting rooms during check in.
Disliked: Would have like connecting rooms instead of next door. We were almost next to the freeway, and you could see and hear the traffic, but when the door was closed you couldn't hear the traffic.

Liked: Have the rooms in the time that is stipulated and improve the cleanliness and the not more friendly staff

Liked: Near the beach and right off the freeway.
Disliked: Little rough area. Bathroom door didn’t close or lock.

Disliked: The staff was horrible. There was no one in the lobby for over 30 minutes to check me into my room after 3:00. I entered 3 times called “hello” and still nobody. When one of the house keepers finally found the person who was supposed to be at the desk, he refused to refund me for the time I spent waiting on him. I called customer service for best western and he told me I called the wrong number, which I didn’t. I’ve never been to a hotel with nobody in the lobby to check you in I don’t know what he was doing in the room he was in, maybe sleeping or something else, but It looked like one of the house keepers tried to open it and it was locked. If you were in a room right next to the front desk and didn’t hear me come in 3 times and say hello and make purposeful noise to let someone know I was there, then that’s a problem. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel location to anyone because the inconvenience is not worth the hassle. Waiting around made me late for the only reason I was out of town.
