Great place to stay and...

Liked: I had a lovely kitchenette. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were clean. No loud noise at night and I felt safe with the locking gates. The beach is just down the block. There were many great cafes and restaurants near by.
Disliked: The bedroom carpet was a bit worn. But other than that everything was great!

Liked: Perfect position near the beach at PB. Nice big room, good shower, nice pool area, parking.

Decent short-stay more-affordable option in...

Liked: Excellent location walking distance to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. Room was clean and an ample size. Nice to have a pool, seems family-friendly if you have kids. Great TV options. Nice to have windows that open and good ceiling fans. Decent budget-conscious option. I might return again for a short-stay.
Disliked: Junk fees! For early check-in (before 4pm, which is late) they wanted to charge me $33 even though the room was ready. Also, they charge a "credit card fee" not itemized in Booking.com summary of charges (did not change total price however). Also: there was poor water pressure in shower and it was difficult to find the sweet spot between hot and cold in the shower. Noise of Mission Boulevard was somewhat annoying during the day. Lumpy foam pillows.

Great location at a reasonable...

Liked: Check in process was smooth. Locked gates and lighting surrounding the building add a nice security feature. Parking was close and convenient. We stayed on the ground floor, so it was reasonably easy to roll our luggage through the property. There isn't a lot of space to keep large suitcases in the room, at least ours was a bit crowded. There was a desk, a dresser, a renovated bathroom, functional tv, remote controlled ceiling fan over each bed, good lighting options, fully carpeted floor except tile in the bathroom. We had no issues with noise. We slept well and found the beds comfortable. Pool is the centerpiece with rooms surrounding. We swam in the pool (in December) and it was fine, too cool in the shade, but kids had fun and the availability of beach towels and loungers was great. Walking distance to the Pacific shore boardwalk and plenty of restaurants. A short drive to Sea World. Great location and very reasonable price.
