Inexpensive is best I can...

Liked: Both afternoon check-in staff member and morning desk staff member were pleasant and helpful, as were any other employees we encountered. Just stayed one night enroute south and chose this as a quick, inexpensive overnight.
Disliked: Very tired furnishings and facilities. Grounds and pool area neglected. Rooms in need of major redo...place probably needs to be gutted and rebuilt. There was no hot water in sink or shower, but we didn't bother to complain. They certainly have eough problems to deal with. We did not stay for breakfast.

Baymont Orangeburg disaster.

Liked: Location was good, proximity to restaurants was good.
Disliked: Room in poor repair, bathtub cracked with no grab bars. Flushing toilet was a struggle. Glad we were only there one night. Older facility could use some serious updates. Probably won't use this one again.

Adequate for the cost yet...

Liked: Breakfast bar was surprisingly adequate with waffle maker and good selection of breakfast cereals. Coffee was hot and delicious. Primary reasons for choosing in first place was location and pet-friendly accommodation for reasonable cost.
Disliked: Our room was in sorry state of decay, with bathtub/shower enclosure missing significant part of its back panel thereby exposing the underlying sheetrock. Extremely dirty laptop power cord from previous occupant was left on the floor but otherwise seemed clean enough.
