Overall it's a budget hotel...

Liked: Everyone who worked there that I encountered was friendly and helpful. Especially the lady working the front desk on the night of our arrival. She knew what we needed before we even asked for it. Super friendly and helpful.The king size bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: It's very warm in the main areas of the hotel. (Lobby, hallways). AC works well in the room and keeps it cool except when you close the door to the living room space there is no AC in there and it would get really warm at night. The deluxe king suite is advertised to fit 4 people, but the pull out couch is only a twin not a full. One kid ended up using the cushions from the couch to sleep on because they both wouldn't fit on the twin. There also didn't seem to be space for a rollaway bed if we had asked for one so we just dealt with it. The place was mostly clean but some of the furniture like the couch and the pull out mattress were very stained. Overall it's a budget hotel and you get what you pay for.

Exceptional

What a fantastic stay. If...

Liked: The location was great! Easy to get to and close to many restaurants. An easy drive to downtown Evansville. Great breakfast with a nice area to sit. Rooms were clean. Very nice. Staff was exceptional!
Disliked: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Well, except that the Steak & Shake next door is out of business.

Never again

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Room was dirty. There was food spills on the table not cleaned. The fridge smelled. And the dresser was taped closed so drawers would keep coming open

Clean the dang rooms

Liked: The night auditor was excellent. He got me checked in and in my room quickly and courteously. The room was at the very end I like having an end room. The Continental breakfast was excellent there was plenty of choices. And the lobby was welcoming warm in the static was really good. Also like the attempted color scheme. The beds was perfectly firm, and the pillows were nice and fluffy.
Disliked: (I left the housekeeping staff a letter and took video of everything) The room was filthy. Not only were their handprints by every door there was a greasy man's handprint on the headboard. There were drips and scuffs down every wall, the sheer curtains looked like Freddy Krueger had visited. The event in the bathroom was off kilter making it seem like there might have been a camera in there if you were a paranoid person. It was Dusty the furniture was completely scuffed and every major corner it looked like time had just left the room behind. The couch in the sweet area was stained it looked as if it had been picked up off the side of the road and placed in a hotel room. Where and hell the TV was hung on the wall The cords were tangled jumbled and could have been ran much better. Basically it look like nobody had given a crap to do anything more than just change the sheets on the bed and wipe the bathroom down some otherwise there was sticky stuff on the table every flat surface you could run your finger across and see where your finger had been. The carpet needed vacuumed, and to top it all off there was puke all the dust ruffle.

Left a day early that...

Liked: The bed was comfortable water pressure was nice
Disliked: Cabinets were filthy, couch was stained immensely, door was barely on the hinge into the other room, absolutely no channels on tv, bathtub was slippery as heck could barely shower, and it was stained. Construction in the next room, laundry at odd hours of the night waking us up. Elevator was terrifying and loud the button kept not working to press would have to double press to work.

Suite is NOT a suite-spare...

Liked: The main room of the suite was nice, comfortable, clean. The bathroom was clean.
Disliked: Staff was non-existent anywhere. Cleaning people were SCREAMING as they cleaned in the hallways at 8:00 am-absolutely ridiculous. The spare "area" of the "suite" was horrendous. It was an old closet made into a spare area-NOT a suite. No windows. Smelled horrible and smoky. Nasty single pull out with stained uncomfortable mattress and no sheets/blankets ready-we had to go search for them with the non-existent staff. The spare area was about 15 degrees hotter than the rest of the suite-no airflow at all.
