Very good

We had a good overnight...

Liked: I liked the hard floors in the room. No creepy carpet. The shower with shower doors was nicer than a shower curtain. The shower might be a bit narrow for a larger person to turn around. Looks like the hotel had a recent remodel. Everything looked new.
Disliked: I am not a fan of the sink location. You open the door to the room and the first thing you see is a sink. The light from the sink shines to the bed. So in the middle of the night you have to wash your hands you are waking up the person sleeping. i guess it is ok if you have the room to yourself. Also getting your luggage in the room is tight with the sink right at doorway. Better if the door would open the other way toward the closet.

Liked: The man working the front desk at check in was very welcoming and friendly.. he also was very helpful with another situation later on and showed great concern and interest in the issue and willingness to do whatever was needed even beyond his job.
Disliked: Everything was very nice. I do not have any complaints! Would recommend!

Disliked: During booking there was nothing about the construction. The contractors would leave door to the outside propped open with a rock. The fire door was also propped open.

We had an excellent stay...

Liked: We have stayed many times in the past when the hotel was under a different name and ownership. We were hesitant to book another stay because, although the rooms were always clean, the hotel as a whole was dated, and in dire need of a renovation. We decided to book again because of the location. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel had a new name and was under new ownership. The hotel has been totally renovated. The entire structure was taken down to its studs and everything in it is brand new. The also painted the outside, added an enclosed seating area and updated the pool area as well. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants.
Disliked: Nothing
