Liked: Loved the marina view! AND the ability to enjoy the view and sound of the evening concerts at Humphrey's, all from our balcony or the hot tub level of the hotel. Resturant food was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be staying at The Bay Club Hotel & Marina for future trips.
Disliked: The entry way could have used additional lighting. The balcony had 2 chairs but didn't have a little patio table (the adjacent room balconies did). Having an option for decaf coffee in the room would have been nice for those who don't/can't drink caffeine. Bath tub could have been cleaned a little better (there was hair lingering down from the bath tub faucet - nothing major but I did have to remove it myself prior to showering).

Liked: The rooms are always nice and ready when I go to check in, and the staff is always extremely nice. The pool/jacuzzi is always nice and clean. I am a single mom of three kids and I never get treated like I'm unwanted or looked down upon when I stay at this hotel. The hotel location is the best! It's very close to everything, sea world, San Diego zoo, the beach, and of course it's on shelter island. I also had a great experience at the restaurant in the hotel. Our server went out of his way and was very attentive and friendly. Although I am a single mom with three children I like to take them out on spring break and summer trips to San Diego. We have been to a lot of different hotels and this hotel has always stayed consistent. Clean, Quite, relaxing, beautiful, bay front location! Definitely recommend this hotel!
