Liked: The location was nice. Stayed Sat night until Sun. Was able to park right in front of the hotel since street parking on Sunday was able. The rooms were better than i thought. It's just that the bathroom was little too big for the room and too many doors for entering bathroom. No locks was bad. The showers were amazing but not having door kind of got me restrained from washing because the waters splashing on the floor. Another thing was the BED. I had very hard time sleeping. Bed was too soft and bad mattress. With the price of room I paid, I thought it could do better mattresses.
Disliked: I didn't like the bed- mattress being too soft. Bathroom having too many doors and no locks.Shower door may need since water still do splash to outside shower.

Amazing location and views. Perfect...

Liked: Fantastic room with views over the public library, empire state and Bryant park. We stayed as a family of 4 and had the best time in the 2-bedroom suite. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 1 week and could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend.
Disliked: Lacked lighting but really a very minor issue

Worst NYC hotel experience, don’t...

Liked: The location of the hotel is nice. Overall, the hotel is clean and modern.
Disliked: I had a fare with all taxes included and was still charged additional 650$. The hotel charged me the taxes and fees a second time. The restaurant and other services have hidden taxes, that you won’t even know about. My 150$ amount in breakfasts nearly doubled after all the taxes I never knew about. Also the hotel charges a destination fee of 170$. It is a separate charge that you can’t avoid. It gives you benefits such as free bike pass and movies in the room. Firstly, it absolutely does not worth it. However, most importantly, I was told upon arrival that those benefits were a compliment included in my fare and only when I left I found out that there is a fee to pay for the “free included” benefits. Also a room service employee, who brought me breakfast in the room was supposed to take several positions of the bill, since I didn’t order them, but he never did it and I was still charged. When I called the hotel to figure out all the charges the employee on the phone was mean and impolite. The manager of the hotel sent me an email afterwards just to blame me, for not checking their website to find out about destination fees. To conclude, employees are unfriendly, there are hidden fees and the hotel will try to make as much money on you as they can.

A few fixes to make...

Liked: Great gym. Excellent restaurant. Nice front-desk staff. Very clean rooms.
Disliked: Housekeeping kept “missing” things — no clean glasses, didn’t pick up used glasses, robes without ties, etc. Pillows seemed uncomfortable. Clearly, a personal opinion.

Liked: The location was great, staff was very nice.
Disliked: We did not get what we paid for. The advertisement for the room was completely false. The room looked nothing like the pictures. A view of the city was advertised but we were looking at the back of a building. They were brown debris amd discoloration in the fridge, kitchenette area and the cabinents were peeling, brown dirt on the wall, a plastic bag with a yellow smiley face stuff into a whole on the wall, everything looked old.
