Disliked: The rooms had an odor and not very clean; blankets were ripped; breakfast was little Debbies and coffee; not very good for $100.00 a night. I know I won't stay again.

Liked: Everything was wonderful: very comfy beds, everything new / remodeled, very new bathroom, great roomservice, very quiet, perfect location to walk downtown. Awesome price to value!!! Absolutely recommend to stay there.

Disliked: Every time we stay there we swear to never come back. This time was the final straw. My partner needed a place to quarantine after his international travel. He developed symptoms that turned out to be COVID. Before we knew it was Covid, we only reserved a room for 2 days. Once we found out what he had, we knew we would need to extend the stay. We booked another 4 days (non-refundable) the day he was supposed to check out. To our dismay when he went up to the front desk, the lady REFUSED to extend the stay even though it was fully paid for. She gave the worst reason for this - that he had refused to let room service in on the first day. He explained that it was out of precaution due to being sick, and then she used his illness as a reason not to let him stay there. If that is not discrimination then I don’t know what is. She said because the room he was in was not available anymore that she would have to put him in a different room and that she DIDN’T WANT THE STAFF TO HAVE TO CLEAN ANOTHER ROOM after he leaves (presumably because he’s sick). Deplorable! When I said, what are we supposed to do in this situation if he is being refused due to illness, she said he could go to the Budget Motel next door. What? She wants to dump him on her neighbors? The only good thing is that she worked out a refund with booking.com, but we were furious nevertheless.

Liked: The hotel is clean and recently renovated. Bed is comfortable and shower is good.
Disliked: The lady from the front desk is super rude and will try to take advantage of you if you need any help. She declined my request through booking.com because she wanted to charge me more than I saw on the app. I told her I could book through booking, and then she said she would decline again and had the right to refuse service. I hope you are lucky to check in with the young guy. This lady seriously can't handle business, and if she wants to make more money, I think she could update booking.com and charge more; no need to be rude and treat customers poorly. I just left. There are more hotels nearby, and I don't let people take advantage of me.
