The stay at this hotel was okay except the lack of maid service, and presence of the local police force, not only at the time of arrival but, every night while the college students were out and about. If we were able to leave to take another room somewhere else we would have. But awaken at 2am with all the loud talking and "banging of the heads", seems like staff could have done a better job on keeping the problems quiet and away from all other guest. Yes the room was nice and reasonable for the price paid but still under renovation it looked to us. Parts of beds and toilets seats laying around outside, clued us in on the renovations. There were pieces of the bathroom walls that needed replaced, the trim all around the entire room needs attention.

When my flight was delayed then diverted, I called to let the staff know that I was not making my 2 room reservation for the first of three nights. The guy said he had to ask his manager about not charging me, and agreed that I shouldn't be charged due to my circumstances. When I arrived, I was informed that I would not receive my money back because I did not follow the hotel's protocol of 72 hour cancellation. Things happen that are not in our control and when you have a rough time reaching your destination, it would be nice to have one less thing to worry about. I am disappointed that I had to pay for the 2 rooms that I did not use.
