Probably the best place to stay in Baltimore - so close to everything. Front desk took care of us with switching around a room - top notch all the way around. Will be probably only staying there from now on.

Putting all the issues aside,...

Liked: The location of the area. The history of the hotel. Loved that the outside of each room door was named and a framed detail of the history written.The lobby had an old charm to it.
Disliked: The bedding selection for the room. The towels were old and dingy. Housekeeping missed some peanuts near the back of bedpost and a condom wrapper. Dried up spills on floor. The layout. I had to move the coffee maker to an outlet. The small refrigerator was placed alone. The armoire was massive but not enough space to hang our coats. First night the temp of room was comfortably warm, the next, my sis slept with her coat and hat. There were not too many channel options on the Television. Not diversified. The continental breakfast wasn’t the best and the room was too big for what was served. The layout has to be taken into consideration. But the coffee was fabulous!!!!!

Liked: Location was good for the area. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Disliked: Room was booked for 2 double beds along with refrigerator and microwave. Room did not have appliances and had a cot for the second bed. Mold growing on bathroom ceiling, paint chipping from walls and just very run down. AC did not work and room was hot.

Liked: Location is great but it is on a busy corner. Expect road / people noise.
Disliked: The busy location allowed us to hear & see all the street commotion from 2-4am. Baltimore police had to break up a riot just outside our window. Having seen the ordeal my compliments to BPD, professionals!

Liked: I am a patient at Johns Hopkins and come to Baltimore every 3 months. The Admiral Fell is close to the two hospitals I go to - both the Bayview Campus and Wilmer Eye Institute. Walking to restaurants and the harbor are great distractions while staying in town. Location is everything.
Disliked: For the second stay, the Anchor Bar was closed. No refrigerator in room so leftovers spoil. Furniture nicked and old. Breakfast is minimal.

Liked: Location is perfect. Right in the heart of a great ba and restaurant scene in Fells Point.
Disliked: The room we chose this time was very small with no counter space at all in the bathroom. But we did get a great rate for that room.
