Room was cheap. Reasonably clean and not too far from downtown Austin. It's definitely not a Hilton but then again the price pretty much says it all

Pros:  It was a travel lodge. Pretty much exactly what I expected. Cheap room, fairly clean.
Cons:  Staff was not helpful. Would not even give me a receipt with the total cost of my stay. Pretty much exactly what I would have expected from a cheap room at a travel lodge

I've stayed in Austin at least 40 times over the last few years. This was by FAR the worst hotel I have stayed at in Austin. Do your self a favor and book somewhere else, its not worth the few bucks you might save. On this visit, I requested a nonsmoking room and upon arrival was told that I reserved a smoking room. I have asthma and a small child so that was extrememly frustrating, especially since the man at the counter was really rude about it. The hallway and room smelled like they hadnt been cleaned or vaccumed in years the stench was so bad. The entire room was junky. The toilet wobbled when you sat on it, most of the tv channels didn't work, the walls were paper thin.... you get my point.

Pros:  Not the hard beds, paper thin walls, rude staff, teetering toilet, OR the bunk television.
Cons:  I requested a nonsmoking room and upon arrival was told that I reserved a smoking room. I have asthma and a small child so that was extrememly frustrating, especially since the man at the counter was really rude about it. PLUS: This hotel is very junky!

Cons:  Was very disappointed with the hotel overall. My neighbors were rude. The staff was scarce. Would not stay there ever again.
