Overall it is a nice place and would definately reconmend it.
Nice place, good location, very clean, nice breakfast.
The windows, when it was windy they were very noisey and kept me awake.

Too many dos and don't - notices everywhere.
Nothing - hotel needs a total refurbishment.
On arrival took ages to even open the door - poor attitude - no running water the first morning - toilet would not flush -checked out after one night.

Regardless of quality, the half hour breakfast meal time of 0845 - 0915 is very restrictive and should be increased. Even HM prisons have longer and more flexible meal times. The wiring throughout the hotel, (particularly in the bar area) leaves a great deal to be desired. The automatically shutting fire door at the top of the first set of stairs failed to close due to the thickness of the carpet. The TV in room did not work properly. The perodic niosy presence of the owners son (who unfortunately suffers with severe learning difficulties) was a constant embarassment.The card key system used in the hotel was prone to problems
The room we stayed in was clean, unlike the remainder of the hotel.
The double room booked was furnished with an uncomfortable split matress.

Nice hotel in quite a good location. Disappointed there was no specific dining room. Breakfast was taken in the basement bar.
good quality of decoration & nice en suite
disliked eating in the bar - prefer a dining room
