Nothing intrisically wrong with this hotel. It's outdated and cheaply furnished. More a £60 a night hotel than the £114 we were charged

Not value for money. Very average breakfast

Was better than camping but would not use again. Would book a cottage for future visits to Conniston
Close to Conniston village and where we needed to be for conniston guide dog challenge
Lamps & kettle did not work, large cobwebs in corners of room. £105 per night for a 2 star hotel, no telephone in room when location is not good for mobile reception

checked in & out within 20 minutes
rooms were dirty, broken furniture, cob webs every where

Very pleasing in an ideal setting. Food very good.
ideal,pleasant,convenient.
Hotel a bit shabby needs decorating in places.
