This was the first time travelling alone after losing my husband. I found the experience good as I knew I could use room service if I didn't feel up to dining alone. The staff were friendly but unabtrucive, enabling me to find my way without feeling pressured into anything.The room was comfortable and reflected a homely environment which eased the stress of being alone for the first time. Overall I would recommend the hotel and the staff were very good. Polite, informative, professional and there if I needed them.The information on the website was very informative. I had a good understanding of the facilities and what was in store for me.
It was clean, spacious and light. Room service was quick and the food was exellent.
Not enough milk for the tea facilities

extremely dated & tired hotel .floral decor in rooms felt dirty .rude waitress at breakfast .if your on you own and sit at table set for 2 you get instructed to move . this happened to 3 different people at breakfast . never again !

the hotel was in a peaceful location; the staff were extremely efficient; the service excellent and food very good.
size of the room; cleanliness; tranquil location; efficiency of service
nothing. TV a little temperamental but no real negatives.
