Wassells is a guest house. Apart from the dining room where breakfast was taken, there were no public rooms and all time in the house had to be spent in the bedroom. The price of £72.50 for a double room for one night, we thought excessive and would have thought £50-55 more than enough. That said we stayed on a Bank Holiday weekend, although it doesn't seem to be cheaper at other times.
The accommodation was clean and well presented and the bed comfortable. Tea and coffee making equipment was good. There was a digital TV and radio. Breakfast was full English.
The bedroom had nowhere to sit down apart from the bed and was small.
