Good and pleasant.
Cleanliness and order of the room was excellent.
Some of the antique furniture are in need of some minor attention. The bath needs some attention as well. Hotel carpets would be something to look at for changing some time soon in order to give much better impression.

In general, I enjoyed my stay, with the exception of the circumstances noted above.
The location is very convenient, just 1/2 block from the Notting Hill tube station, on a lovely road of white collumned townhouses. The rooms are decorated with very pretty antique furniture with a shabby chic feel and are very warm.
The first room I was given was on the lower level and had serious plumbing problems. The water in the bathroom sink began to gush out of the bottom of the sink instead of coming out of the faucet and the knobs on the bathtub would come off in your hand. As soon as I made the front desk aware of the problem with the sink, however, they immediately moved me to a new room which was fine in every way. Another problem was that my husband called me several times from the US during my 5 day stay and was told twice that there was no one by my name staying at the hotel. He just laughed and insisted that they keep looking for me and he was ultimately connected.

Very enjoyable stay. We booked for our 20th Wedding Anniversery. The room lived up to our expecations. The only lacking thing was no mini bar!
We enjoyed our stay. The room was exactly as advertised eg four poster bed and whirlpool bath in a traditional English hotel.
The radio was a bit tempermental. The satelite did not include pay per view channels such as sky sports.
