Hotel Reviews of Terminus Lyon

The reception staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful and efficient. My online booking was answered immediately and there was never a problem with changing dates etc. After a long 30 hour flight from Australia, this was very welcome.
It was a relief to have a lift for heavy suitcases - this is not always available in small hotels.Very clean room, with updated bathroom, warm and polite staff. I would recommend the hotel to anyone. The position is fantastic.
It was not very clear about the breakfast "special" - I thought breakfast was free as part of the fee, so I was surprised to be billed for breakfast.

Very helpful staff. Excellent location (right across the street from the Gare de Lyon). Better bathrrom than most of the other hotels we've stayed in in France.
Two queen beds were too big to squeeze into the room. We had to move one just to get into the room.

At this price point, we felt this was a good value. The professional yet friendly staff were a real plus.
Excellent staff. Pleasant and professional. Continental breakfast was very good. Location is perfect for travel from Gare Lyon via TGV.
Small elevator, but at least there is one!

I would recommend this hotel, not near the main tourist spots but within easy reach. Plenty of cafes etc near the hotel. Staff very helpful.
Staff very helpful, room very clean, good size, close proximity to metro, railway and buses.
Not impressed with the breakfast, no coffee etc in room, just a personal view though.

Tea/coffee facilities in rooms would be a good idea as standard.
Room was spacious and adequate and bed comfortable. Online booking was very fast and payment at hotel no problem. Also reasonable price. Breakfast was very nice and assorted.
I booked the accommodation for my parents (aged 80 plus). Their comments are: No tea or coffee facilties in room. When arriving at hotel after a very long journey across UK, then by Eurostar, and then taxi to hotel.and not being able to speak any French, it would have been nice to have somewhere to buy sandwiches or a snack in the hotel, as they did not want to have a full meal in one of the surrounding restaurants and were feeling quite tired. Tea/coffee facilities in room with maybe biscuits would have made them feel more welcome at the end of their long journey. Also they did not like the TV screens on the walls as they said there was lot of interference on screen. When they stayed previously I think they just had a normal tv in the room.
