Hotel Reviews of Regent Petite France

Really enjoyed our stay in Strasbourg. Excellent hotel, interesting place to visit.
The location of the hotel is excellent - right in the heart of Petit France. We had a lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking the canal and a huge bed that was very comfortable. As you arrive you have a great view of the hotel and it's quite imposing. There is no through traffic near the hotel and it is generally very quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning worked well. From the hotel it's a short walk (10 mins) to the Cathedral and the centre of the old town We didn't use the restaurant or bar or take breakfast so no comments on that.
It was very hot when we arrived but some of the corridors and public areas were too hot for my liking - a small point though against a generally excellent hotel.

Spacious room; excellent bed (we slept so well!) spacious, well-equipped, luxurious bathroom.
We had room 403. The stairs to the top floors are very narrow and slippery. Fat or unfit people would have a big problem. The air was extremely dry; some humidifying device would have been appreciated. We helped ourselves with a wet towel the second night.

The location was convenient for exploring Strasbourg and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was good with both inside accomodation and a verandah outside. The bedroom was reasonably large and all facilities wooked well.
It was a clean, and light room and the shower was very good. The air conditioning was efficient and very quiet. The staff were all very helpful
