We had a great girly weekend here and were very impressed with the room, food, local brews and welcoming hosts.
Great find and perfect for an overnight stay in this beautiful part of the world. Lovely room, great food, decent wine list and lively locals!
Checking out was rather labourious and we were in a rush to get to a christening.

Very good breakfasts. Fruit and yoghurt would be a good option for breakfast. It would be good to be offered information on things to do/ sites to see around Grittleton. Very friendly staff. Clean premises. Great place to stay. Good value for money.

A personal service in a quiet inn. The food was exceptional which was a suprise. Carparking was plentiful.
Excellent location and period setting
Creaky floorboards

The friendly staff, quiet location, good old English decor / pub
A bit pricy.

Looking back the room was overpriced and there was a mix up as to how many nights I'd booked and therefore despite the helpfulness of staff and quality of food wouldn't stay again unless more realistically priced. However I cannot praise the owners for their friendliness enough.
Friendly staff and good food and we were able to change rooms when wasps/bees decided to pay a call
No heating in bathrooms
