Hotel Reviews of Milestone Hotel Kensington

We felt well looked after and the staff were very helpful and attentive. As my partner is a wheelchair user, we were disappointed to find that access into the hotel was difficult, using a temporary steep ramp up the back steps which was not ideal, and this detracted from our enjoyment of the visit somewhat. The on line booking system did not prepare us for this and indeed reported the hotel as 'accessible'.It would have been helpful if a contact telephone number was given on the website to allow us to ask about accessibility etc. The installation of a small platform lift at the rear stairs would resolve the access problem. Once inside the hotel, access was good and the staff did all they could to help us.
a very pleasant environment - comfortable and well furnished
looked out into a conservatory - room was a bit dark and public toilet was adjacent - some noise.

Location, Service, Excellent Room / Hotel Decor
Offer Cream with your coffee, sorry us N.Amer use 10% milk fat cream, not milk Recognize that my last name is Antonio, not Shaw like my wife's (it gets tough to smile each time a staff member greets you, with good enthusism, however with the wrong name) During the London terrible events, when multiple calls were coming in looking for us and news of us, the concierge should have recognized this may be happening to his international guests and could have told callers he spoke to us at 10:30 AM, hours after the bombings!
