Have stayed there many times in the past but not since the refit. The refit has brought the hotel into the modern era and is now a fantastic placeto stay in.
Restaurants were excellent.
If you're not used to Spain and it's 'Manjana' attitude then it can be very frustrating place to visit. Constant promises made by the front desk staff were not made, but not one was realised.

Alright as b&b, certainly no more.
Good breakfast, modern hotel, good pool area
Very poor evening meal, in value and quality. Poor attitude of dining room staff. Lack of evening entertainment

If you want a central location with good all round value, this is hard to beat. This is a good 4 star hotel with good amenities and pool area. The breakfast is superb and the staff more than helpful.
I like the central location of this hotel and the excellent value for money it offers. The staff are friendly and the hotel clean and efficient.
If you get unlucky there is a bit of a walk from the lift to your room.

The hotel was lovely, staff friendly, food nice, room clean
The hotel had a lot of prostitutes in the reception area after midnight. I found that if I came back alone, some men mistook me for one or the prostitutes themselves would act intimidating as they did not want any attention distracting from themselves. This meant it impossible to enjoy a drink in the bar after midnight. One man even advised me to go to my room as the prostitutes had already caused trouble with some other women. For that reason as nice as the hotel was I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone other than men looking for a prostitute which is a shame really.

Would like to come back in the near future with family, would have liked to have known we were on main road, but I think if I did, I would not have booked. But very pleased with our stay.Evening meals not too good, but with all the choice on your doorstop it really did not matter.
Nice, clean rooms, lovely reception area.
Having no kettle and cups.
