I´d only say "what a pity that our travel schedule didn´t allow us to have stayed longer ! "
The kindness and professionalism both Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis offer to their guests is of extremely high level.It is such that if you don´t pay attention to the facilities, you won´t realize how good they are. Our room was a perfect place to stay.
Only a very little one, which applies to so many places in Great Britain: the adaptors (or better to say the "no adaptors") to plug the mobile telephone or the lap top loaders in. But this bad point is nothing compared with the amount of good points we found there!

As good as any 5 star hotel I have stayed in; with none of the pompousness!

Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis couldn't have been more helpful. I was able to have a very good meal at 10.00pm, although evening meals are normally served between 6.00 and 9.00pm. In addition, because he saw that I was having difficulty climbing the stairs, Mr. Jarvis put me in a (much bigger) room on the first floor, instead of the single room I should have had on the second floor (i.e. two floors up). The breakfasts were delicious.
