Excellent
Excellent food and drink. Great service by the bar staff.
Room faced over the noisy front lawn - lots of noise and chatter until well after closing time, 1am at the weekends!Door was locked BEFORE MIDNIGHT on a Tuesday night (we were told it was open until 1am) and we had to ring the night bell to gain entry!!

Fantastic position (in Grasmere). Friendly, helpful staff.
On suite rather cramped.

An attractive hotel in extensive grounds. The rooms and the public areas were decorated to a high standard and the staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient.The breakfasts were to an excellent standard with a good choice.We will stay again
A well presented hotel in a great location with good accomodation and good food
Whilst Room 5 was a bit small it was more than adequate for a two night stay. The room was attractively furnished and to a good standard and the shower was excellent
