i had a booked a single bed room, but in fact the single bed was more like a queen bed, so very good.
decor a bit dated and no air con in the rooms. I had ordered newspapers to be delivered to my bedroom each morning, thinking this was complimentary but then realized i was charged on my bill which annoyed me as throughout the hotel there were complimentary papers free for residents to take.

The room i was in was very clean
The carpet on stairs leading from reception was threadbare

we stayed for just one night, and really enjoyed our time, lots to do in the area, the breakfast was really good with lots of choice.
the reception staff are really welcoming, room was a nice size, with a good view over the forest, bar was nice and cosy and very relaxing.
the hotel although very bright and clean looked a little tired.

disturbed sleep with A\C units running all through night but without the advantage of A/C bedrooms (all windows were open)Sunday breakfast long queues for service @
